History of Hingol National Park
The Hingol region has been inhabited for thousands of years and has long served as an important route connecting the Arabian Sea with inland Balochistan. The Hingol River carved dramatic valleys through the mountains, creating the extraordinary landscapes seen today.
Recognizing the area’s exceptional biodiversity and geological significance, the Government of Pakistan declared Hingol a national park in 1988. Today it protects rare wildlife, coastal ecosystems, mountain habitats and several sites of religious and cultural importance.
