Typical Itinerary
Day 1 – Arrival in Islamabad
Arrival at Islamabad International Airport and transfer to hotel. Trek briefing and preparation.
Day 2 – Fly to Skardu
Spectacular flight over the Himalayas and Karakoram Mountains to Skardu, gateway to the high peaks of Baltistan.
Day 3 – Skardu Sightseeing & Preparation
Equipment check, permit processing, and final expedition preparations.
Day 4 – Drive to Askole
Journey to Askole, the last permanent village before entering the wilderness of the Karakoram.
Days 5–11 – Trek Through Baltoro Glacier
Begin trekking through some of the world’s most dramatic mountain landscapes. Camps typically include:
- Jhula
- Paiju
- Khoburtse
- Urdukas
- Goro I
- Goro II
- Concordia
Each day reveals increasingly spectacular views of glaciers, granite towers, and towering peaks.
Day 12 – K2 Base Camp Excursion
From Concordia, trek to K2 Base Camp. Stand beneath the world’s second-highest mountain and experience one of the most iconic locations in mountaineering history.
Return to Concordia.
Days 13–18 – Return Trek
Retrace your route down the Baltoro Glacier while enjoying new perspectives of the Karakoram’s magnificent scenery.
Day 19 – Drive to Skardu
Return from Askole to Skardu.
Day 20 – Fly to Islamabad
Return flight to Islamabad.
Day 21 – Departure
Transfer to airport for onward flights.
