Upper Chitral has implemented a two-month ban on swimming and boating across all its rivers, streams, and natural water channels. The decision, announced by Deputy Commissioner/District Magistrate Upper Chitral, Muhammad Imran Khan, comes into immediate effect.
The prohibition has been enforced specifically to mitigate the risk of potential accidents during the impending monsoon season.
