History of Gorakh Hill
For centuries, the Kirthar Mountains were home to nomadic communities and shepherds who moved seasonally through the region. Because of its pleasant climate, Gorakh Hill was occasionally visited during the British colonial period, but its remote location prevented major development.
In recent decades, improved roads and tourism initiatives by the Government of Sindh have transformed Gorakh Hill into a popular destination for adventure travelers, families and photographers.
